Electrical Contracting Sector

31st of July 2024 - Update on the application for an SEO in the electrical contracting sector.

Pursuant to its notice of intention to conduct an examination of the terms and conditions relating to the remuneration and any sick pay scheme or pension scheme in respect of the electrical contracting sector (below), the Labour Court is in receipt of six submissions (AECI, Noel Simpson Snr, Construction Industry Federation, NECI, Dolores Rogers & Connect Trade Union).

Pursuant to section 15(4) of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2015 the Court has scheduled a public hearing to hear from all parties appearing to it to be interested and desiring to be heard. The hearing will take place on Wednesday the 4th and Thursday the 5th of September 2024from 10am onwards at the Labour Court, Lansdowne House, Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4.
